ByCatch Alert! Watch out for monsters!

One of the best bycatch shots as a test version of the Tailspin Scud hooks into a decent sized Lake trout just catching a piece of membrane on the inside of the mouth. I really should have bought a lottery ticket that day.  I would like to say it was 100% skill and masterful fishing technique that brought this in but the only thing I was thinking is how I somehow snagged into a big branch, and I didn't want to lose my test lure so I very carefully dragged in so as to not snap my fragile line.   

P.S. We smoked him and he was very tasty with bagels and cream cheese.
